About Rick
Rick was enjoying a successful military career while struggling to hold it together at home. He knew he was not the man he desired to be, and it was destroying his marriage and impacting his ability to be the dad his children deserved. He surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and as he walked in accordance to the design of God, he began to experience a life change that led to the relationship he desired with his wife and children.
Once he surrendered and followed Christ, he began to serve others and found the joy he was missing in his life. His greatest joy is helping others gain freedom from the hurts, habits and hang-ups that so easily hold them in bondage. This focus on servant leadership changed the way he approached his duties and responsibilities as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Air Force, and provided him with opportunities he could never have imagined. He was promoted to the senior Enlisted Ranks and served in the highest levels of leadership.
Rick has a passion for helping people gain freedom from the lies that so easily entangle us and keep us from living the abundant life that our creator God designed us for. His compassion and genuine love for the Lord provides the empathy many need to deal with the challenges of life. This love for the Lord and people led him to complete an M.A. in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University. Armed with this new knowledge and led by the power of the Holy Spirit, Rick plans to live out the remainder of his life helping others find the abundant life we were designed to experience.
